Lenny Nakitari: My career as a protector, eventually leading numerous residential protection teams in London and close-protection details across Europe and USA.
Lenny has developed training program and curricula for protectors, clients and their staffs. His training programs include security Fitness, stress inoculation, defensive tactics, emergency medical care, and tactical firearms. Lenny also created L&K protection group’s Physical Readiness Test (PST). Most protective security assignments will require candidates to pass a Physical Readiness Test (PRT). PRTs are scheduled during the selection process and will be decided by the candidate’s recruite. I have determined that these standards are the minimum physical readiness levels to permit our employees to perform all essential functions of their positions, which focuses alertness on awareness and early detection techniques to improve chances of survival during an attack.
I have led Active Close protection operatives and clients fitness trainings and active exercises programs.
Lenny has advised several security agencies, including the Fortus,Targeted and Sodexo security, on incorporating L&K Protection group ’s protection philosophy and specially designed training programs.
Prior forming Lenny&Kompany Protection Group Ltd (L&k),Lenny worked as Green Corner/Cactus bar bouncer Nairobi,in the year 96,98 before joining Body Heaven gym as Fitness coach and Village Market Security Operations in the year 2000,2004.
In the year 2004 November, Lenny Joined B A airport Security in London UK where he played key roles during security operations with Airport Authorities and later joined Virgin Active Gym formerly known as Holmes Place gym as a fitness trainer in 2005 where he progressed to Group Fitness coach.
In 2010 he was contracted to Proctor &Gamble UK as a Security Operative until 2014.
As a certified Fitness and Security Operative he progressed to a Executive Protection Operative by Joining Wilplan training Academy Chorley Lancashire UK in 2011 earning him Diploma in Close Protection and Firearms certified and qualified Executive Protection Operative. Continued with Proctor &Gamble Uk until end 2014.
In 2014 Dec he joined Unilever Uk where he played a massive role running Security Operations LHD gaining substantial corporate experience and Health&safety.
All along during 2012-2017 time, Lenny worked with PPS security former (M&A Security) on part time basis running the Red carpet events in London Leicester square where he looked after high profile Hollywood celebrities, Government officials and foot ballers. This is where he gained enormous skills and experience and that’s when L&K Protection group ltd was born.
Lois Whittaker L&K Protection Group Limited President
Lois Whittaker has over 30 years’ in senior management, including managing a training and education Academy for 24,000 staff at one of the largest NHS Trusts in England; heading up the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, running a global executive education consultancy business and managing the commercial subsidiary of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
She’s also a fitness instructor and over the years she taught Les Mills programmes for body pump, CXWorkx and body balance as well as teaching hatha yoga and vinyasa yoga.
For ten years she has been running her own business, providing consultancy support for a range of organisations in the health sector, as well as providing advice and guidance for individual clients as a fitness instructor and nutritionist.
Lois Whittaker worked in Europe; the States, and East Africa including Nairobi and Tanzania.
She’s experienced in working in highly complex environments where constant change, innovation and “thinking outside the box” are mandatory requirements for creating a successful business.
Kevin Mapesa

Heading up the Creative and marketing functions, Kevin brings over 10 years of commercial experience, Working collaboratively with the L&K Protection Group Operatives field team he is seeking sustainable growth opportunities which make a positive impact to the business and are fully aligned to our social values.
Being a graphic designer himself, Kevin oversees the creation and execution of design solutions of L&K Protection Group including imagery, charts, infographics, and multimedia elements used for marketing, advertising, sales, and other forms of communication. Kevin also has experience in Security operations having worked a Events security Steward back in the day.
William Njogu
Chief Finance Manager
William Njogu joined L&K Protection Group as Chief Finance Officer in October 2020. William is qualified in Finance and Account Management. Prior to joining L&K Protection Group , William is experienced and qualified worked in Agricultural ,transport ,manufacturing, FMCG,SME, NGO, communication and IT. He worked and still do with some of the high end companies in the country.
William is Consultant with CPA qualifications, and includes Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance. William brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to L&K Protection Group Ltd as a Chief Finance Officer.
A true HR professional William leads our team of HR team developing strategy which supports our company values – always with a focus on people and colleague wellbeing. His experience spans all areas of HR with a particular focus on employee relations from an operational perspective. He is passionate about inclusion and works with our wider operational teams to ensure diversity and that L&K Protection Group provides an inclusive and supportive workplace for everyone.

Through innovative that enhance design and quality organization, improve service, Monika Nakitari leads the business recruitment team that continuously streamlines our business practices. Her operational expertise also extends to high-level strategic projects and managing Company’s quality recruitment with a careful selection of Protection Officers to provide excellent service to our clients.
Previously, Monika worked as Regional event Coordinator with Compass Group Ltd for 4 years. She also directed and oversaw the operations of Travel Lodge as a head of customer Service team, where she assisted with the development, planning, and execution of services in the region and corporate clients. Leveraging her extensive knowledge , Monika identified unique opportunities to serve our clients and meet their varying security uniform design.
Throughout her entire tenure , Monika remains instrumental in building teams, recruiting and selecting top quality individuals for the benefit of the company development. As a manager, she directed our screening and vetting process for applicants, spearheaded quality-control operations for our Protective Security Division, and led a team of thought leaders and subject-matter experts in our Risk Management division.
Monika Nakitari is also trained in Firearm and tactical training by her father, a retired Military veteran from Czech Republic Army at her early age of 2 years up to date. She wears protection minded through and through.

With over seven years of experience in the private security sector, Margaret serves as the Operations Manager at L&K Protection Group, where she plays a pivotal role in overseeing organizational structure, operational strategy, and team leadership. She brings a comprehensive background in business management and leadership development, underpinned by a BSc in Business Management and enhanced through further specialized training with LEAP Africa.
Throughout her tenure, Margaret has been instrumental in streamlining the company operations, leading to measurable increases in efficiency and service delivery. She has also been responsible for the development and implementation of sustainable internal and external structures that continue to support the firm’s long-term growth objectives.
She is recognized for her exceptional interpersonal skills, strong project conceptualization capabilities, and deep understanding of human psychology – skills that have proven invaluable in both team management and client engagement. Her expertise also extends to conflict resolution, organizational development, and effective communication across all levels of the organization.
Committed to lifelong learning, she holds additional certifications in mental health counselling, grant writing, communication skills and interior design.
Beyond her role at L&K Protection Group, Margaret has demonstrated desire for growth by pursuing Criminal Psychology to better hone both her skills and staff – clients interactions. She is also multilingual, with basic knowledge of both French and Spanish, further supporting cross-cultural communication within diverse operational contexts.
